I've had no problems with this ever (although now that I say that, things may change). I have used this for the past few years - maybe 3 years or more? I take at least 200-700 photos a month on one or two cameras (so I use both the xD and the SD slots) and they have worked perfectly for me on my PC. No complaints from me.

Thought it was a nice small device to carry. It worked rather quickly to download a CF card to my Mac, but it only worked that one time.

Bought it at [...] less than a year ago. Haven't used it much, just for photos. If your going to buy one spend a few bucks more and buy a better one. This one just dumped and I doubt [...] is going to back it and I can't find the company website.

At first, it worked fine, but then I started having to fiddle around with it just to get it to show up on my computer. Mac or pc, it gives me problems. I spent 45 minutes once to get it to work. Now it is saying that my card is full when it has nothing on it!! DO NOT GET THIS!!!

This is by far the worst piece of junk card adapter I have ever attempted to use. It's got next to no compatability with anything at all. It just simply doesn't work.

I've used this for maybe a couple of weeks. I agree with other posters, that my mac recognizes the reader about half the time, several times I've had to unplug and replug to get it to work. Yesterday I left it plugged into the USB port for a couple of hours, and when I got on my computer I smelled a weird chemical smell. I realized that the reader was warping and melting and was extremely hot to the touch. I immediately unplugged it - my 8GB memory card seems OK, and my USB port still seems to function, so no long term damage. I'm throwing away this card reader - it's a piece of junk, and dangerous to use.

I got it from airport store because I forgot to bring my cf reader. I was not able to get my laptop to talk to CR 72 reader. Device Manager keep on saying unknown device. I could not find any tech support on this device. Bottom line - Do not buy from Digital Concept

Tried it on 4 computers. None could ever figure out what it was.

I dunno, I never had a prob. Plugged it in, lit up, showed up on desktop, reads media fine. All this was on a Mac, if that makes a difference (being a former PC user, I think it might). But Digital Concepts should verify their Windows drivers for its customers.

I've been trying to figure out how to use this for the past 1.5 hrs. It just doesn't work. Windows Explorer will freeze before this thing starts to work. No support on there site either. Don't make the mistake I did.

I plugged in the CR72 device and the light came on. It then went off. The computer could not find the SD memory device. I tried a different USB port and nothing. I tried several times and the light would come on intermittently. Finally I could not get the power light to come on at all.
