The first one I sent back because it did not make a good connect. The second one had the same problem but was close enought that I could add a paper shim and make it work. The problem with doing this is when you are out in the field and the shim comes loose what do you do?

I could not use it - bought it new and it didn't charge for 10 minutes and it shows fully charged. Installing it in the camera it last for 1 photo - just rubbish - this model is sealed and battery can not be replaced or checked

The unit was returned for two reasons. First of all the shutter release button did not function most of the times it was pressed. Second of all, there is no exposure wheel to make adjustments with.

I purchased this item for an up comming wedding and right out of the box I was inpressed until I started charging it. Immediatly the Charge light was red, instead of green. After a 24-hr charge the batter was only at 75% charge. Once I hooked it up to the camera I realized that it had no Autofocus shutter relase position! Many pictures would be blurry taken with this device! Deeply disappointed, I should have known and stuck with Nikon!

I thought this would be a perfect solution for my D80 at a very affordable price but after a couple shots I was extremely disappointed. NO auto focus solution and the battery is extremely slow recharging and not acurate. I would not recommend this to anyone.
