I’m a programmer and this is an awesome monitor - especially when connected to a 4k capable MacBook Pro or an iMac5k.

I spent several weeks looking at 4K monitors ranging from mid-range to high-end. Given the cost, this was the best deal out there. I use it for photo editing, and I'm very pleased with colors and resolution. I'd buy it again.

Had a Dell 2K monitor that I thought was great until this was purchased. Amazing colors and text is sharper as well. Love to watch 4K video on Youtube. Stunning. The controls are in front, and easy to use. The only downside is unless you have the current version of Adobe Cloud products, the programs won't scale properly. But that's not to fault this monitor. Love it.

I use this monitor as an extended desktop for a Macbook Pro. The 11-pound weight works well with a Varidesk monitor arm. Very sharp, decent color reproduction for the price, though the white isn't as white as the Macbook Pro retina display at lower brightness levels (it's fine and contrasty when you turn brightness up though). The bezel and back are plastic and will give/squeak a bit when you grab it to reposition the screen, but the monitor is otherwise solid and I have no concerns about its build. Overall very satisfied with my purchase.

I've had this monitor at work for about a year. Had to get one for home. I can't think of anything to complain about. It just works.

Does everything promised with great color, contrast, and definition. You do need to reset the text/icon etc. size with Windows 10 but that's not the monitor's fault it's just a lot more on the screen than with 1080p. Love it!!

This is a good value IPS 4K but I can only run 4K at 60Hz using the DisplayPort connection. It is using older version of HDMI so runs at 30 Hz through that connection so keep that in mind if your graphics card does not have a DisplayPort. Also, I noticed some dark blotches or patches on the second day of using the monitor but after the 3rd or 4th day it disappeared on its own. Could be something like a wrinkle in the backlight layer that straightened out on its own? Not sure. We'll see if they reappear but right now it looks OK with acceptable uniformity variances. The spots/blotches/patches looked like large darker grey areas on a white background as if the screen was dirty in certain areas. I hope they are gone for good. Otherwise I'm satisfied with the monitor.

The screen arrived unharmed and within the original timeframe. this screen is comparable to Apple's 27" monitor, but less than half the cost.

We currently use this monitor in our marketing dept. Primarily used with Photoshop and website development and updates. For the price this is the best monitor we could find. Hands down beats out our Apple 27" Thunderbolt Displays.

Lovely display as long as your computer can drive it at least at 60Hz. Occasionally doesn't sleep very well (shows odd white and red pattern when computer goes to sleep) and rarely won't wake back up, requiring a power plug pull/reinsert.

Great color, seems sturdy, vesa mount option, some included cables. My only complaint is that the usb ports are not on the sides.

The P2715Q is a very nice monitor with excellent resolution. There are definitely some issues with the Windows 10 scaling so you can read text on the screen. Photoshop is outstanding with this new resolution. The monitor is also fairly slow to sync to the computer when it comes out of sleep mode. Sometimes I have to undock my laptop and then login that way before redocking.

Pros: * 4k resolution * SST (single stream transport) over DisplayPort for 4k/60fps * Accurately factory-calibrated to sRGB 6500K/2.2 gamma * Excellent backlight uniformity * Supports DisplayPort daisy-chaining * Very good stand with tilt/swivel/pivot * No PWM flickering * AH-IPS panel - no color shifts based on viewing angle Cons: * When paired with nVidia, has trouble coming back from sleep sometimes, have to powercycle the monitor. Happens about once per week or so. Subjective summary after ~month of use: best purchase in years.

My MacBook Pro Retina 15" Mid-2014 (NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB) will drive this monitor at full 4K at 60Hz. Anti-glare coating is excellent and not sparkly or glittery AT ALL. DP to mDP cable is included in the box. Factory color calibration is very good (but I am not a photographer). I am running El Capitan OS and have not encountered any issues whatsoever. Adorama expedited delivery was 2 days and everything was new and in perfect condition.

Bought this to use with Photoshop with my MacBook Pro 13". Plugged in with the supplied display port cable and it was recognized immediately. I have just transitioned from a PC to Mac since I needed to update from Photoshop 5 to CC. The old version would not recognize my raw files from my new Canon camera. This being said I am just learning all the nuances of moving between screens (it's different for sure) as well as 5 vs CC differences. I can say the added territory on the screen versus the 13" retina display is amazing. I have yet to print anything to see if the colors are true between the monitor and my printer but assume they will be since Dell pre-calibrates the display to sRGB. I did look at another major brand that had great reviews but the monitor was not adjustable. That was a killer in my book since I use this in different settings on the road as well at home.

This monitor is fantastic. I use it heavily and the colors/angles are stunning; I'm coming from a 23" 1080p Dell monitor. Even better is the customer support by Adorama!!! I had a bad monitor come in the mail and they replaced it without any hassle. This company knows how to treat their customers right. 5/5

This monitor is so awesome I couldn't wait to write a review! On my Macbook Pro it was completely plug-and-play (once I plugged the included display port cable into the correct port - one is a passthrough. The colors are great (and I'm picky). I tweaked the RGB setting to R:97, G:98, B:100 and bumped the brightness up to 80 and it looks phenomenal - the whites are more pure than the MBP's Retina display which sometimes has a faint cool cast. Editing my photos in Lightroom on this monitor is a dream come true. I was worried that text would be too small, but fortunately, it works just like the native Retina display - you can run in native 4K resolution (in which case the text IS too small, and a bit blocky) or you can run in a scaled mode, but unlike the old days, scaled modes look amazing. I'm running in the middle mode and text is clean and sharp (maybe just a skosh less sharp than the Retina, but super close, and hey, a LOT more screen real estate so of course the pixels are going to be ever so slightly bigger.) I like it far more than the lesser resolution and far more pricey Apple Thunderbolt Display. At the current prices, this thing is a fantastic buy. Plus it incorporates a USB 3.0 hub so you can plug all your accessories (including a hub) into the display and then only have one USB cable (included) to plug into your computer.
