"Functional and inexpensive"
Collapsible chemical storage bottles are perfect for storing chemicals that are sensitive to oxygen or air. The bottles are also opaque, to protect potentially light sensitive photo-chemicals. THE BOTTLES ARE THIN & FILMSY; Although this can be a little annoying when filling or pouring, it's a positive when using a water bath to heat the chemicals. I use a small plastic tub and hot water, 120*F - 102*F to warm and maintain C-41 developer solution temperature to the ideal 102*F. The quart or 1 liter size is perfect for the C-41 kit I'm using. :)

great product!
I use it for all my processing chem. For b&w it maintains the temp perfectly and for color it heats up very quickly when submerged in a bucket of hot water.

Not just novel, but useful!
I bought three of these, so that I could premix developer (d-76 1 L), stop bath, and fixer. I don't develop my film on a regular basis, so this extends the life of the solutions (to do so, you have to get all or most of the air out of the bottles, but that is exactly what these are designed for).
They aren't the easiest to pour from, but they aren't impossible to work with either. I wouldn't buy another type of bottle from chemicals I only use onces a month.

Prefect product
I use this to store my film developer and it is just prefect as it reduces the amount of air for oxidation.
The only problem is rinsing and drying as the folds require air drying.

Does Not Work
Of the six purchased only one keeps the air out. The other 5 leak air and expand in just a couple hours. The seal in the lid is a thin layer of styrofoam that clearly is not the right material for the job.

Great containers
Much easier to use then the floating lid containers I presently have. A more compact storage solution and once you evacuate the air out it keeps it out. It helps keep the chemicals from oxidizing while you have them in storage. Better then having to locate different size containers for smaller amounts of leftover chemicals.
