Not up to normal Domke quality
Bought for F-803 bag. Flimsy compared to the smaller US made included insert. When inserted it doesn't fill the entire bag space. It leaves a couple of inches at either end. If it filled the space I would be able to carry two mirrorless bodies ( Fuji XE-2s & X- Pro1 ) with lenses attached. I don't know if this imported insert's specs. have changed but it certainly limits the use of my bag.

Domke FA-230 3-Compartment
Not very impressed with the finishing look of the product! Somehow, it doesn't have the look and quality of a well made product.

Smart Addition!
This is a smart addition to the Domke F-803 bag. This insert adds just enough padding, especially on the bottom of the bag which normally is durable but a little thin on cushioning. It comes with two movable dividers using velcro.

Good product
It is a good product for what it is. I would not use this as my main/only protection but for me, when traveling light and not needing anything more than a liner in my messenger bag, it does the trick. Again, great for what it is though. I am happy as it is what I expected?..lightweight, perfect size

Bought this to keep in my briefcase, an old hartmann bag, for carrying my e-420 and a couple of lenses with me wherever I go.

Great Insert
I use this occasionally in a Domke F-1x bag instead of the standard 4-compartment insert. It allows for storage of a long telephoto lens attached to a camera body, with the lens resting next to the insert. I store additional lenses and accessories in the insert.

Good for DIY camera bags
Very straight forward insert, should fit well in most messenger style bags. Using mine in a army surplus paratroopers bag (with some velcro to hold it in place. Nicely fits camera with attached lens, a second lens and a flash - although I may remove a couple of stitches to set the camera a little lower in the insert. Insert fits the bag without making it too bulky.
The biggest issue is the bottom of the insert has no padding what so ever. There is just fabric to keep your goodies in the insert. If using in a bag with out padding on the bottom you will need additional padding for the bottom.
