Howard W : wil this work for a Nikkon D3200?BRIAN H : Yes. My camera is Nikon 5100 and small Fuji point and shoot camera, and 3 different viddeo camera and three differenr bonoculars.STEVE L : Yes, No problemALEX B : This is what I use with my D3200 and it even works well with my Heavy lensLAURIE C : I should work with any camera that has the threaded hole in the bottom for the adapter to screw into.DAN T : Well, your D-3200 will attach to this tripod, but I'm not sure it will be the best tripod for a DSLR. I use it for my point and shoot, and it does well, but a heavier camera may not be as stable. The head of the tripod is not as convenient as others I've used - in terms of finding and locking the exact position I need. Also, the camera does not screw directly to the tripod - rather, it attaches to a plate which is then held by the tripod - can be an inconvenience since there the plate attaches to the camera via screwdriver, not knurled knob.
MARIAN T : Would this tripod be compatible for a Canon Rebel XS?BRIAN H : I use for 2 different digital cameras, 3 different camcorders, and three different binoculars.ANDREW R : This tripod is not specific to any particular make or model camera. It should work with nearly any camera equipped with a 1/4"-20 threaded tripod socket and that does not exceed the 9lb load capacity.
Shopper : Does this tripod have a compass and a level?JUAN R : It only has a level its still a pretty good tripod im verry happy with mine i hope this helpsSHERYL C : It does have several levels. I am not certain about a compass, have never noticed.FLOYD M : the tripod has a bubble level

Solid entry-level tripod

I've used the tripod for a few weeks now. The set up and teardown are very simple, with articulating levers that close and open the friction to let the legs down. The hook to counterbalance the camera was pretty solid, and held a 20lb weight to counterbalance an DSLR+telephoto. Rotating head is convenient for scenery, but articulating up and down is much more difficult since there's no large handle for the movement. All in all, can't beat the price and build for this tripod. Very happy customer here.
