The guide book is not model specific, so it is not useful in learning to operate the Nikon D90. It comes with a DVD which is poor instruction. Read and carry the Nikon manual with you. Spend your dollars on a high quality UV filter, not this book.

This contains the book, and two DVD's. The book is a great starting point for beginner photographers. It has great tips for exposure, ISO, and many other confusing subjects for beginners. There is no camera specific instruction... just basic concepts. The DVD in the front of the book is narrated by a guy that is easy to follow, and explains basic concepts. The DVD in the back of the book is where it contains help for the specific camera that you purchased the book for. Here in the second DVD, you find a good tour of all the little buttons on your camera that you are anxious to try. It's been years since I have owned a good quality camera, and this book was perfect for me. I'm sure I will use it for reference for years to come.

After getting my Nikon D90 I purchased this book. The book had basic information on a lot of different subjects (great for beginners). Good book to refer back to for refresher. The DVD'S that came with were even better. Again, they cover a lot of different subjects but that's why I bought it. All in all, I would purchase these items again because of there information, but, I really enjoyed the DVD'S.

This helped me get started. I took some great photos with the tips offered on the DVD's.

This "D90 MultiMedia" product is only 1/3 on the D90- one CD is general digital photography, the book is the same! The other CD is on the D90 and only a tiny bit is on movie (mulitmedia). The part on the D90 is well done and I learned a lot, but I was disappointed that the other 2/3 of the material was of no use to me and so little time was spent on the movie function. Grudgingly I would still recommend this as the D90 part was good, but I resent the false advertizing.
