Very good DVD

This is a great DVD. I have learned so much from watching it. It was worth every cent. I have watched it 3 times and there is still more information to be gained from it. I watch it and try a technique and then watch it again the next week and try a new method. I am impressed. I am so glad it purchased it. It really builds on the instruction book that comes with the flash. The only problem is it is somewhat out dated because all of the demos are with old 580s and 430s and not the new 580 ex II and 430 ex. That is somewhat confusing because the buttons and features are different but all and all it exceded my expectations and that is all that matters. Right?

Very helpful

Watching a video while working with the flash or camera is a very good way to learn - hands on.

helpful

there is a lot of useful information on this dvd about photo lighting in general as well as specific info for the canon flash units. The dvd spends more time with the 580ex than it does with the 430 ex , but for [$] it is worth watching. I learned from it, but it does require multiple viewings for the info to stick
