Convenient and compact.

from New York, NY  -  Quality Oriented

Love the fact that it doesn't use any tonner or cartige. although labels might be a little more expensive, but it still pays for someone who prints a lot. or for the other advantges this printer offers. The compact size of the printer is also a big plus, so i can keep the printer on my desk handy, not taking off to much space. The printing speed is just okay, i belive that in future models, this will be improved. but i havn't seen other printers much faster so it's okay.

Great Label Printer- GREAT PRICE

from Cleveland, OH  -  Value Oriented

I use this printer to make postage/shipping labels with Endcia Dazzle software. You can print both domestic and itnernational lables with postage using this printer and the 4x6" labels. I was able to buy "compatible" labels off of that auction site (e something) from a seller called houselabels. These labels cost about 2 cents each and work super in the Dymo 4XL printer compared to about 14 cents per label for the Dymo Brand. These generic lables did not harm the printer in any way.

Works like a charm

This is the best business purchase I have made this year. Printing labels is a breeze. Set up was fast with no complications. I am using it through paypal using the ZebraLP2844 setting.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Does this include the ethernet connection?
MARK F  It does not have an ethernet connection.
rani p  The specs don't say that this is Windows 7 compatible however on some sites offering this product, it indicates that it is windows 7 compatible...do you think it is compatible?
MARK F  On Dymo's site under Product Support it lists the OS' it supports; one of which is Windows 7.
kellie m  to change the labels to print stamps, has this been an issue...do you find a need to have two printers? Works with Vista 64 bit correct?
eric m  To be clear, FedEx and UPS labels can be printed on the 4XL, but it generally requires some sort of workaround. For example, you tell your shipping software to print to a plain-paper printer (not thermal) and then choose your Dymo and play with the paper size and margins until you get it centered correctly. Not quite plug 'n play.
