This scale works out of the box just like it should, tied right in with my Dymo Labelwriter. This saves my trips to the post office to stand in line.

I do a lot of jewelry mailing so it's very handy for getting accurate mailing costs. It is also great in the kitchen for weighing precise measures.

Works with Dymo stamps right out of the box. create an account and print postage. no monthly fees use it when you need it. no cost to have available. Scale works with or without the computer on with the battery. turns itself off. It work so well I bought s second one for the office.

WHY would anyone buy a DYMO scale that is meant to be used with a DYMO printer if you don't have a DYMO printer? The purpose of this scale is to weigh a letter and then have your DYMO printer print out the appropriate postage stamp!

I use this with the Endicia Dazzle postage software. It was plug and play- set up couldn't have been easier. This scale has a small, compact footprint on my desktop- like that. I just click the "weigh" button in the dazzle software and voila! The scale automatically tells the computer the weight of the package/envelope.
