Robin D : Does this come with a spare battery?DARRIN E : Nope. Also, one thing that's not clear in the instructions is that you have to insert the fuse into the side to get the battery to hold the charge. Just a heads-up.STEPHEN C : No, it doesn't come with a spare(extra) battery. The included battery is good for about 150 full power flashes, so if you're shooting more than that, I would recommend getting an additional battery and keep one charging at all times.JAMES W : This set only comes with 1 battery. There are other kits that come with a spare battery. Until Elinchrom comes out with the Lithium battery, you absolutely need 2 batteries...forget about 200 full power pops...you will be lucky with 150.CHARLES B : No it does not come with a spare battery. It comes with the Quadra Pack, Head, cord and Charger.

great light, battery does not have the capacity that Elinchrom claims, an extra spare battery is a must.

doesn't need two sherpas & a pack horse
this thing rocks. it's light, powerful and recycles fast. perfect for weddings inside and out. with the skyport transmitter you can adjust you light output at the camera. will probably buy another.

A Must Have For The Pro Photographer !
When you see the Quadra for the first time your first thought is "its to small to be useful", boy was I wrong! This thing is a power house !!! It is rated for a certain amout of flashes at certain power settings but I far exceeded their specs... I did my homework on this item before purchasing it and I found very few complaints by other users. Its not cheap $$$ but what is this day and time for the professional photographer. If you are shooting outside as I do a lot of, I found that my flashes were just not cutting it anymore so I started looking and I am so glad that I decided on the Elinchrom Quadra !!! If you need portable flash power and I do mean flash power, look no further. They are light weight, easy to transport and use and the built in skyport is great ! Spend the money and get the good stuff because it don`t get no better than the Quadra !!!
