Nasser A : I have the Ranger Quadra RX new kit. It has a build in receiver for Skyport. Plus, I have one Nikon SB-900 flashgun, well this receiver work on it? Best regardsJENNIFER T : This receiver will work with your SB-900 but you have to buy the cord to connect it, which is sold separately. This one from Adorama (SKU PWPC1) will do it: PocketWizard PC to Miniphone, 1' Straight Sync Cable. I'm assuming you already have the Skyport TRANSMITTER though (Adorama SKU EL19350), because without that the receiver is pointless. As for the Quadra kit, again, as long as you have the Skyport transmitter the built-in receiver should work great. If you don't have a transmitter or receiver yet, I suggest getting one of the sets that includes both since it's a little cheaper than buying the pieces separately :)ROBERT S : Yes. The universal receivers are intended to work with many different brands of flashes.
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?GARY H : A less expensive and high quality solution to remote triggering flash over Pocket Wizard. I have bought into the whole Elinchrom system. Works great with the exception that you might find AM frequency interference and need to adjust your frequency selector. There are 8 frequency options so plenty to chose from.DAVID C : Lets me use my Elinchrome transmitter for my studio strobes and my speedlites.

Love it for Professional Use

I use this and the Skyport Kit daily and I Love them. I use them with Monolights, and Sony on Camera Flashes and other Manual Shoe mount flashes. works for all and lots of cables came with it.

The Universal EL19347 Receiver is compatible with Elinchrom and other flash brands.

Delivered with one Elinchrom standard sync cable and one 3.5 mm jack. The internal, rechargeable Li-Ion battery provides about 30 hours of operation. To maximise battery life, the Auto-Standby function activates if the unit is not used for 4 hours. The Charger can be connected to the mains whilst the Universal Receiver is in operation. The status LED shows charge and operating modes.
