I mainly use my phone for calling and texting. I had a Samsung Blast. That is an inexpensive one but excels at texting. I just got Sony Ericsson W350A yesterday. I felt I made a big mistake by buying this phone. The program design of this phone was terrible. It takes quite a few more steps to do desired tasks. Texting is a nightmare. I could text very fast on my Samsung but not on Sony Ericsson W350A. Very disappointed. The only 2 things I like it better are the color/size and better reception. I don't care for the walkman. Only very few song recorded on it anyone. You have to buy extra memory to store more.

This has been a great phone. I have had it for almost 2 years and love it. I haven't been able to find it locally. I was pleased to see this one. I have dropped mine several times. The worst that has happened is the battery popped out. I just put it back in and it works just fine. The only problem I have had is the hinge. It broke a few days ago. But the phone still works okay. I just like having the flip on it to cover the keys. I would definitely purchase this phone again. But blue would not work for me, I have a family member with the blue one. Mine is white.

I get this phone because I want a cellphone with: 1. make phone calls, of course2. could be used as a mp3 player so that I don't need to bring another one.3. Expandable memory flash slot4. light-weightedAnd it meets all my requirements, the tradeoff for light-weighted is it's plastic rather than the metallic body. So I guess it would be dead after you drop it several times. If you usually drip your cellphone, this won't be what you want. It's relatively old model so I don't expect the image quality from camera -- and I seldom use it.LCD is pretty nice and bright. The sound is pretty good if we consider it's small and light -- of course it won't match your Boss headphone; but both earphone and its built-in stereo works surprising good, at least good enough for everyday use.My biggest complaint for me will be NO earphone included and that takes another week and extra 10 dollars to get one from[...]. Otherwise, it's a good phone

The Sony Ericsson W350A Cellular Phone has a wonderful 1.8 inch 262K display that shows colors beautifully, has an intuitive interface and allows you to choose from a variety of menu styles. The W350A also has stereo Bluetooth, USB mass storage and PC syncing. Other features include 1,000 contact address book, voice memo recorder, alarm clock and speakerphone.
There is a plastic flap that folds over the keypad which, when closed, offers a set of dedicated Walkman control keys. The overall effect is that of a combination flip/candybar phone.
