The Explore Scientific 100 Degree Series 30mm Nitrogen-Purged Eyepiece is the world's first to break the 30mm focal length barrier in the hyper-wide 100 degree apparent field eyepiece category. The 100 Degree 30mm gas-purged waterproof produces pinpoint stars to the edge of the field of view and the eyepiece body is nitrogen-purged and waterproof preserving the internal elements to remain as pristine as the day they were assembled. The sealed, dry environment is impervious to internal fogging and contaminants such as fungus growing in between the lens elements. The waterproof eyepiece is easier to clean.
