Don't wait, buy it now if you need to spread your flash to a large group. Can double as a snoot. Syl Arena recommended this in his book and now I see why!

It's replace my flat non-flexible bound card and the little dome diffuser. It is more flexible, easier to use and more controllable than the other two options I was using.

I bought this modifier to for when I take outdoor portraits to help soften the light. I have alittle bit of a hard time getting it to bend just the way I want it to but I assume it just needs to be broken in more. I had a mini softbox prior to the Flashbender and it did not work as well as the Flashbender.

There's a slight learning curve to using this but the results have been nice. It does a really good job of controlling the light.

This Flachbender is a must have for situations when you just can not get your flash off camera. It provides a large reflective area to bounce your flash into, thus providing a soft pleasing lighting effect. Unit is easy to install on your flash and lays flat on top of my camera bodies in my camera bag. I can't think of a thing I would change about the item.

I really like how it throws the light forward and fills in otherwise lost shadows. The only down-side is that it is large and quite an attention getter so I ended up answering questions from curious people than taking photos.

Great idea. Not sure how it wasn't created earlier, but it's easy to use. Makes the camera a little more unwieldy, but only a little, and not too heavy.

This is a life saver in tuff lighting conditions. If time is short and you need a fill this is a must have. It is simple to attach and flexible for any lighting need in a pinch. The quality of the product insures it will last a log time in you bag without falling apart. It is great investment.

This is a fantastic piece of gear. Can be used in multiple ways to control light from a flash. Particularly useful if you are stuck with a camera mounted flash. Packs easily and is very sturdy.

I like to use this product as an event tool. This is really helpful when you not able or don't want to carry around bulkly lighting equiptment.

Straps around your flash head for easy use and easy detach. Like shown, point your flash up and use this to bounce it to light the area. The flash comes in from above, so the eye does not shine back with the red-eye. Of course you can bounce off the ceiling, but this really forces the light on the scene.

neat little doo-dad. Wish it was a little bit wider so you could really wrap and around and do a sort of half snoot, but the construction allows you to come up with a lot of different set ups to bounce or control light off your speedlite.

I love these flash benders. Great for on the go photography. Nice even light diffusion onto subjects, it's like having a mini umbrella with you where ever you are. Having said that, in outside lighting during the day, sunshine will overpower the reflected light off of the bender. All in all , these flash benders are great for what they are made for. I might not always use one, but I never leave home with out one.

I used this at my last wedding reception and really loved the control if offered. It attached easily to my flash and stayed put. It did as weight to the unit and when I bent the flash it made the hinge bend more, so I need to keep the flash upright and just bend the reflector. It worked well enough. It seems very well made.

I read a review that tested a number of popular flash modifiers, and the conclusion was that the best results were from a piece of white card stock paper secured to the strobe with a rubber band. I used that idea with stellar results. The Flashbender takes that idea and makes it far better than the card stock. I am using it on my fill flash and am getting excellent results.

The bounced flash is much softer. It is easy to attach to any shoe mounted flash. You can bend it to any shape you want: reflector, snoot, etc...

These flash modifiers can control and shape light to reduce or eliminate harsh lighting from your shoe-mounted flash, resulting in more pleasing portraits. Here's a frequently-asked question: "I use a shoe-mounted flash on my camera, but when I photograph people the light makes them look pretty..<...
FlashBenders represent a new approach to controlling light. FlashBenders are positionable. You can bend a FlashBender into almost any position, and it will assume that shape, staying in position until you reform it.
FlashBenders are made from the highest quality materials, including genuine Cordura nylon and genuine Velcro fasteners. FlashBenders' white reflective surfaces are made from a durable, wipeable, synthetic fabric which has been tested for neutrality so that it won't alter the color temperature of the reflected light from a strobe.
Rogue FlashBenders fit a wide range of shoe mount flash brands, including: Canon, Konica, Metz, Minolta, Nikon, Nissin, Olympus, Panasonic, Pentax, Quantum, Sigma, Sony and Vivitar.
Large Positionable Reflector
The versatile Rogue FlashBender Large Positionable Reflector can be used either as a reflector to bounce light onto a subject, as a flag to shield light away from it or as a snoot to produce a tight and narrow circle of light. Because of its size, the Large Reflector is perfect for off-camera use.
The patent pending design incorporates (3) positionable rods that allow the Large Reflector to be molded into position and held in place.
The Rogue FlashBender Large Positionable Reflector requires no separate attachment strap, nor any adhesives to be applied to the strobe. The easy attachment belt built into this FlashBender is designed to work with all makes and models of shoe mount flash.
The Large Reflector weighs approximately 6oz (163g), and measures approx. 10" x 11" (254mm x 280mm).
