This product is absolutely fantastic! I have used a lot of products in my 10 years as a photographer but this is one of the best. It is inexpensive but very well worth adding to your equipment list.

I use it on my SB 900 Nikon flash. When I use it as a back or hair rim light, I can control where the light spills.

When I first got the Flash Bender I didn't like it. I thought it was a bit hard to put on securely and didn't "mold" into shape the way I wanted it to. However after using it to shoot two event where I needed a single SB600 to cover a very wide group, I can honestly say WOW! The quality of the light I was able to produce with one SB600 and the Flash Bender was awesome! Yes, I finally got the attachment to the flash to work well and the only beef I have is I would like to have a bit more shape control. But all in all, I love ti!

Another great offering from Expoimaging. I use this one in conjunction with the large Flashbender to modify light from my speedlites for environmental portraits. It is very vesatile and exhibits great quality in construction.

Expoimaging is known for it's creative tools, and the FlashBender is another home run. The flexible rods in the reflector allow the light to be directed in any way you choose. My advice is to get creative with it. It's well constructed and easy to attach. I prefer to bounce my flash, but if there are no surfaces to bounce off, this is my goto.

I use the medium and large versions and I like them very much. They attach with a collar that is rubberized on the inside, for a secure fit, that closes around the flash head with a Velcro strap that is also elastic. You don't have to glue anything to your flash unit. I hate that. They are made of heavy duty vinyl type material that is very durable. There are flexible metal strips sewn into the back of the reflectors and you bend them to give the reflector any shape you want. I like this customizable aspect and I play around with it quite often. It makes for a very versatile white bounce card and that's what makes the light better than other white bounce cards. They fold flat and are very easy to store in the camera bag so I carry one around all the time. It's always there when I need it.

Have been using my Flash Bender for about six months now and I love it. The best light modifier I've ever used for on camera flash. Great when shooting in a large room where your moving about. Worth the money and highly recommend.

Have only had several occasions to use but the versatility of this product is outstanding for the price. No bulk, easy to use, product does what it claims

Best and most versatile hot shoe modifier I've used. Does a great job of evening out light. I bought this to use at an event that I have not shot yet but just in testing it seems to work very well and allows for a lot of creative "play". Love how flat it folds and fits into a bag. It does seem just a tad heavy on an already heavy flash but I think it will be worth the weight.

Although a little pricey, is a nice light modiffier. Can use as a flag to snoot your flash output and keep from spilling light on to your subjects (helpful when you are bouncing the flash), and works well as a small reflector. There are DIY solutions to be honest, this one works well, but is a little expensive. Make sure you really need it, I recommend reading books about flash photography before getting any modifier.

This is a great accessory for bouncing flash and reducing the hard shadows a direct flash can cause. This lightweight device straps to the positionable head of a flash unit allowing for a variety of different positions to be achieved via bending and curling the bounce screen. The unit folds up nicely and fits into my camera bag when not in use.

This past weekend (Fri-Sun), I had an assignment to cover a large public event with many local celebs. The settings were all indoors, and included hotel meeting rooms, lobbies, and several theater venues.... all low light and/or high contrast lighting situations. flash was definitely a requirement. However, I dislike the flat, washed-out look of typical flash photos, and extension arms are akward at best in tight situations. Anyway, I liked the look and compactness of the Rogue FlashBender, and decided to give it a try.... much to my delight. Setting the SB-600 flash on my D-300 in TTL mode and with FlashBender attached, I shot away in a variety of lighting situations... from almost total darkness to extreme contrast stage lights. It worked great, giving the subjects a nicely modeled look, without making them look "flashed," and without any red-eyes. In contrast, my collage used the same camera setup and flash unit with a dome-type defuser, and ended up with many red-eye subjects. I HIGHLY Recommend this flash accessory!!

Have been using my Flash Bender for about six months now and I love it. The best light modifier I've ever used for on camera flash. Great when shooting in a large room where your moving about. Worth the money and highly recommend.
FlashBenders represent a new approach to controlling light. FlashBenders are positionable. You can bend a FlashBender into almost any position, and it will assume that shape, staying in position until you reform it.
FlashBenders are made from the highest quality materials, including genuine Cordura nylon and genuine Velcro fasteners. FlashBenders' white reflective surfaces are made from a durable, wipeable, synthetic fabric which has been tested for neutrality so that it won't alter the color temperature of the reflected light from a strobe.
Rogue FlashBenders fit a wide range of shoe mount flash brands, including: Canon, Konica, Metz, Minolta, Nikon, Nissin, Olympus, Panasonic, Pentax, Quantum, Sigma, Sony and Vivitar.
Small Positionable Reflector
Like the larger version, the Rogue FlashBender Small Positionable Reflector can be used either as a reflector to bounce light onto asubject, as a flag to shield light away from it or as a small snoot to produce a wide circle of light. And because it's half the size of the larger version, it's easy to throw in a camera bag and it's perfect for use on (or off) camera.
The patent pending design incorporates (2) positionable rods that allow the Small Reflector to be molded into position and held in place.
The Rogue FlashBender Small Positionable Reflector requires no separate attachment strap, nor any adhesives to be applied to the strobe. The easy attachment belt built into this FlashBender is designed to work with all makes and models of shoe mount flash.
The Small Reflector weighs approximately 3oz (92g), and measures approximately 10" x 7" (254mm x 178mm).
