It's my second one of these And I like it because of its simplicity It lacks a lock, so be ready with some guffer tape And that's why it gets 3 stars only

This thing is cool for like paparazzi type shots. You can get sufficient light balance up close from verticle to hoizontal without too much harsh shadows on one side.

I'm using this bracket as a mount for a red dot sight in order to photograph birds in flight and other moving targets with a super-zoom camera.

This is a good bracket - sturdy and good finish. Serves its purpose with a small trick. I use a slave flash which also has a hotshoe, which means it can work in Auto or Manual mode if the camera has a hotshoe (Sunpak 018 for $). However for P&S digital cameras which do not have a hotshoe you have to use the slave feature. Problem is the attachment on the bracket is metal which prevents the slave going off because there is contact between the flash & the bracket. So I had to put in masking tape to prevent contact between the flash & the bracket. Works great after the little trick. I am also buying a PC to Hotshoe adapter (Adorama) to trigger non-slave flashes.

A flexible arm designed to be used with the LTPC clamp. The rod Flexarm can hold light weight fixtures or props and be easily moved and held in place without having to lock any knobs.
