I used this cord for about five weddings before it gave out on me. I had to jiggle the cord to make the right connections with my flash. Just buy the Canon brand it is durable enough for regular use! The cord does not produce good communication with the XTi but I don't know about other EOS models.

This is basically a piece of garbage .. it is the same as the Alzo Digital unit and is not worth the postage cost. The screw holding the base fell out and the locking pin for the hotshoe broke which locked it on my camera and required cracking the cheap piece of junk apart to get it the heck off my camera. As you know, if a photographer wants better quality flash photos, he has to take the flash off his camera. But to use his dedicated flash off his camera and mount it to a bracket, he must use an off-camera TTL cord. These off-camera TTL cords are significantly less expensive than the cords available by the camera/flash manufacturer.
With a 1.64 foot coiled cord and a 1/4-20 female thread on the bottom of the connector for the flash, these cords were designed to allow most better flash brackets that have a 1/4-20 male screw to mount either a shoe or TTL cord.
