This is the first Telecaster I've bought. It sounds great. The Three nocaster pickups create some unique sounds when plugged in. I recommend this guitar to anyone who wants a tele with options.

This guitar plays excellent and has many tonal possibilities. I am a Les Paul die hard, but own a couple of Tele's and a Strat. This guitar is a keeper. The price at the discount was "RIGHT"!!!

This is one Fender guitar I was really excited about getting my hands on one day. It felt great out of the box and the pickups really have a nice sound in all positions. This guitar really kills with a little boost or overdrive. Very happy I got this one! This guitar will probably replace the Stratocaster I usually use.

This is my first Made in Mexico guitar. I find it hard to believe anyone could justify the price difference in the American models. Pulled it out of the box, barely tweaked the tunning and been playing for a couple weeks now. Hate to put it down. Set up, fit and finish is excellent. Wish there were color options.

This is a very unique instrument. It arrived with all the proper appointments, and seemed to be set up pretty darn well from the factory. Great price and working with Adorama was a breeze.

Wow - unbelievable guitar and unbeatable price from Adorama. Even though a unorthodox pickup setup for a normal Tele - I found it to have many useful variations.

Mine shipped fast and well packaged. No damage, no defects in finish on first observation. Pickguard was bowed up and center pickup was loose. I really wanted a pearl pickgaurd anyway, so I purchased one in pearl and one in tortoise. Think I like tortoise better. Will need to route them for the non-standard pickups. Overall an outstanding value, but I wouldn't be able to play out of the box. Unsure if temp had anything to do with it, but it was -20 below the day it was delivered.

This feels like a tel but has a better variety of tones than the sandard pickups. I don't play country music so I have never liked the Tele sound but I do like the sounds that this one puts out. it plays very nicely. I like male fret boards on my Fender electric guitars.

I happened across this deal and was intrigued by a Telecaster with three bridge pickups. One of Fender's Classic Player series (made in Mexico). I liked the looks, loved the price, and jumped on it. I'm glad I did. This is my 13th guitar, and I can almost say it's my second-favorite (the first is my Artist Series Eric Clapton Stratocaster -- which cost a bit more!). The fit and finish are well done, and the five-way switch and three Custom Shop designed Nocaster pickups give this guitar a lot of flexibility in sound. The only down side I can see is that the truss rod adjusts only through the heel of the neck, and not through the headstock. I have pricey, collectible guitars. This one was intended to be a knock-around player. And it's a delight!

I have an Ephiphone Les Paul Jr with single Humbucker PU I got demo for 2 bills. I am new but I set the action low and it plays well. My semi-pro friend plays it and it sounds great. He likes it better than his thousands dollar big name guitar. I got the Fender to see how a name brand guitar sounded over my cheap one and the Epi absolutely kills the Fender. The Fender is made more for Jazz and precise sounds but the sustain is half the Epi's. My Epi is 2/3 the weight also and better balance. The Fender isn't horrible but hearing both in a 15" pro amp, the Fender does not sound as good. The bag is awesome and except for some thin chrome around the jack mine looked excellent. The sound is what matters and the sound and sustain are much better with my much cheaper epi les paul jr ( pro1) with 1 humbucker. Sorry Fender, just not that impressed. The retail of my Epi is 1/3 the retail of this and it seems to be 3 times the guitar, just without the name. It is up for sale and I'm keeping the EPI ! YMMV depending on the sound you want. ROCK, Metal, and grunge sound so much better on the EPI vs. the Fender using a high dollar amp/cabinet.

Likes: The Nocaster pickups sound fantastic. They are very versatile and sound great in all positions. The guitar was well set up by the factory. No buzzing. Very low action. My guitar is very light at 6.8 pounds. It may be the lightest of my 5 Teles. It comes with a Fender gig bag. Dislikes: I expected a neck with a "Thick C" profile to feel thicker. This has a "Medium C" feel to me. The center pickup is not RWRP, so there are no positions without hum. This is not a big deal and was what I expected. Overall: This is a great guitar and a fantastic deal. I doubt you will find a better deal on a MIM Fender.

I got it on sale for ($) what a steal. It came set up nicely, did not have to tweak the neck or bridge. It plays smooth and fast, and with 3 pickups on a 5x selector it is versatile. I give it four stars only because it is 21 frets vs 22, and because a 7x selector would fill out the possibilities between 3 pickups. This is the least expensive guitar I own, but it is my favorite. Go figure.

I had a minor problem in ordering - the guitar appeared to be on sale, but the price kept changing to full price at checkout - a quick call to Adorama corrected the price to the sale price and I had my new Telecaster two days later. Played and sounded great right out of the box - everything I wanted and expected.

Great compromise between a useless cheap guitar and a super-expensive professional one. My son loves it.

Feels very solid in my (big) hands. The sound is clean. I love it. Several friends are jealous of the deal I got!

Fender Custom Shop Master Builder Todd Krause has designed an unusual take on the Telecaster for the Classic Player series. The high-performance Classic Player Triple Tele rocks three slanted Nocaster single-coil bridge pickups for truly distinctive modern tone and the classic look of a black finish and pickguard paired with a one-piece maple neck/fingerboard.
Other features include a thick "C"-shaped neck profile, 9.5" fingerboard radius and 21 vintage-style frets, five-way Stratocaster-style switching, vintage-style string-through-body bridge with three brass saddles, special Custom Shop neck plate engraving and more. Deluxe gig bag included.
