After several years of vacations to beautiful snorkeling and diving spots I decided to try underwater photography. I wanted to start with an inexpensive case for one of my existing cameras to find out what is important. The FL-6 is sturdy, easy to load and sealed perfectly - not a drop inside after two weeks in the Cook Islands. Operation of the buttons was straightforward. The case seems to be bigger than it needs to be for the camera. The result is that it is somewhat bulking to hold in one hand while scuba diving. This is more noticible because the volume of air makes it quite buoyant. I might try adding some lead to make it neutral. Overall, the quality is fairly good and suited my needs for trying underwater photography. One important thing to consider if you try it yourself is to make sure you set the white balance in your camera. My Nikon L-6 can be preset - I took a white plate under with me to set the balance. The camera doesn't have an "underwater" setting. The automatic setting results in a strong blue tint to the pictures.
