Great Buy
Works as expect. Very easy to use and it lifts my non-matching Manfrotto head up enough to be usable on my Feisol tripod.

Works Well
Sturdy construction. Fits well on my CT-3442 tripod. Easy to use once you get it in your mind that when looking down on the camera the locking mechanism, which has right-hand treads, must be turned counter clockwise to tighten. Panos require much less cropping than before I started using the leveling base. I could never sufficiently hand-tighten the camera into the original base that came with my CT-3442; the camera would become loose while walking around in the field. I think I have solved this problem with the leveling base. All it took was a firm twist with my 16-inch channel-lock pliers; so far so good. Feisol engineers may want to investigate using a little longer stud so that industrial-strength tools are not required to keep the camera in place.

Another piece of the excellent Feisol modular system
I haven't yet used this, hence only four stars, but it seems very well built and will fit my application well. I plan on taking this into the backcountry, where level setups are rare. I envision this being used quite a bit.
The build is solid metal and complements the quality build of the rest of the Feisol gear. The weight will also add stability to the tripod system.
