I bought this item and did not work

I bought this item and I thought it was the batteries and went to the store and bought new batteries and it did not work at all, beside the item was sent in a padded envelope and the box it came was damage because it was sent in envelope, on top of that I was charged $9.08 shipping and it took forever to arrive for nothing because the firefield nightfall did not work.

Not bad for the money

I bought this just to see some critters in the back of my house and it works very well with just moon light you can see everything and if its pitch black just turn on the IR and and everything lights up. The only problem I have with the product is quality control, when I received mine there is some lint or a large piece of dust almost in the center of the view finder and there is no way to get it out, other then that I love it works great.
