About FLIR TS24
The FLIR TS24 Pro is a light-weight, easy to use hand-held night vision camera. The FLIR TS24 Pro allows you to detect a man-sized target as far as 350 yards (320 meters) or when used with the optional 2x Optical Extender, detect as far as 600 yards (550 meters) away. Use the FLIR TS24 Pro in environments with temperatures between 32F to + 122F (0C to +50C).
It gives hikers, hunters and outdoorsmen of all stripes the ability to see clearly in total darkness, providing a wealth of valuable information during any nighttime excursion. Scout, powered by the same advanced technology used by military and law enforcement, is the first personal thermal imaging camera affordable enough to give every outdoorsman the unsurpassed practical advantages of full-resolution thermal imaging night vision.
FLIR Scout thermal night vision camera makes images from heat, not light, a feat impossible for the naked eye or even image intensified (I2) night vision devices, which means you can see clearly even without any visible light at all. People, animals and objects all make their own heat and their own contrast and are clearly seen by the Scout in even the most adverse conditions. Scout lets you see clearly through smoke, dust and light fog. No more wandering off trail when darkness falls and conditions deteriorate. The FLIR TS24 Pro Scout has a 240x180 FPA resolution that allows you to cover an area with a 24deg. X 18deg. field of view (FOV).
