They are made in NY and I was glad to buy American but the total lack of qa here is bad and I'll never buy tiffen again they came with high endorsements but I'll never put faith in them again

Easy to carry and locate the filters in their case.
Perfect set of filters to have for lens protection and creative uses.
Tuffen brand speaks for itself, the kit is nice, polarizing filter "THE BEST"
This is a good basic kit if you don't have any other MC or CPL filters. I primarily use to protect the front of the lens and keep dirt from being sucked in.
This was provided as a promotional item in the purchase of the Nikon AFS 28 F1.8 lens, but once I opened it, I was very happy to have it. The Tiffen filter pouch with the 3 provided filters is perfect for storage. It does not take up much space and has minimum bulk. It slips easily into the back flap pocket in both of my Domke F10 and messenger bags, for fast access when I need a filter or to change a filter.
nice combo, good case
I use the polarizer filter to reduce glare and improve color saturation the most often. I only use the other 2 (UV & warming) on occasion. They all work well and have held up well for over 3 years. I do notice some softening on my photos but nothing that can't be fixed in post processing.
Initially, I had difficulty getting the UV filter on, but the other two went on easily. All filters seem to work as they are supposed to.
The only thing that is a negative with this kit is the circular polarizer turns a bit stiff. Otherwise the optics are good and have good effect. They came free with a bundle with my Canon 70-200mm f/4L IS USM lens so for that it is GREAT!
Filters came dirty. Finger prints and smudges on them. What really got me was that the CPL filter in the set came with GREASE in the rotating part of the mechanism! Now, every time I use a lens brush or lens cloth, I get grease on the brush and/or cloth, as well as smear it all over the glass it self. The brush then spreads it to my other filters! UGH!! The purpose of the grease is to make the CPL turn nice and smooth and possible stay where you put it, but there HAS to be a better way than GREASE! I am going to have to take this apart and clean the grease off of this filter before I use it again. Good filter, just beware.
