This step-up ring seems to made of aluminum and it fits to my lens witihout any binding. I use it to adapt my larger ND filters to a 52mm Nikon lens, as opposed to buying several ND filters in 52mm.

I can use larger filters on smaller lenses. No need to buy & carry filters to match every lens.

Fit the len perfectly. Step up ring allowed me to use existing filters from a larger size lens on my new camera. product is worth the price. Adorama came through again with an excellent product.

Unfortunately most cameras now have insubstantial, inaccurate threaded PLASTIC to receive such filter adapters and filters. This adapter is thus far beyond what is offered by most contemporary cameras.

Nice product, now i don't have to go out and buy extra filters. I can use my existing filters without it costing more.

I BOUGHT THIS RING TO USE WITH SOME FILTERS I HAD AND IT WORKS GREAT WITH THEM. IT SAVED ME SOME MONEY TO BE ABLE TO USE THE RING INSTEAD OF BUYING NEW FILTERS.

I keep several in my kit for quick switching between varying lens thread sizes

For a very modest price I can use my filters on my macro lens. Product is made well and performs the job it is intended to do. Threads are precisely cut. Why pay more?? A more expensive adapter couldn't do any more.

This adapter is the right color (dull black) and the threads are smooth and well cut.

Allows you to use larger size filters on lenses with a smaller diameter thread. The first number is the size that screws into the lense, the second number is the filter size.
