The Mariner compass model uses Fujinon's most accurate compass. Only -1' maximum error-the same compass found in the independently top rated Polaris 7x5O FMTRC-SX.

The compass and reticle display are visible through the eyepiece. A translucent panel above the compass provides a bright view of the heading under daylight conditions. For use after dark, a nightlight is built into the compass. The control pushbutton and battery for the light is atop the right tube. This exclusive new Fujinon design makes it easier to use and also reduces the chance of electrical interference affecting compass performance.
