The Schonfeld Pistol Grip tripod head can take the ease of spotting or photographing on a tripod to a new level. The key is the trigger handle. It has an oversize trigger release that you squeeze to freely move the head. When you move the scope or camera to the desired position, simply release the trigger and the head locks firmly into place at any angle.
A convenient switch on the body locks and unlocks the quick release shoe, which means that the quick release plate can rotate 360 degrees and can be locked at any point.
