"Love it"

I use this product for my Portrait work and have been pleased. Please enough to buy a second one! For the money it's an amazing deal. If I need another Monolight this is the one I will buy.

you get what you pay for

I got mine less then 3 months ago and it blew up on the 4th shoot I used it. The handle broke when I tried to tighten it enough to hold the weight of the large soft box.

the flashheads are wonderful

These flashheads are wonderful. Ease of use is very important. The adjustable flash is prob the best feature on these heads as you can addjust to your subject and back ground to get lighting that is life like and great skin tones. The lights stands were a bit disappointing was expecting something a bit beefier to hand these lights. Over all this is a great set of flashheads without spending all your budget. Would like to see a 3 light set.

The 1820 monolight has good lighting

The unit is very good in small to medium areas, inlarger areas the uint is under powered. Has even consistant lighting, good color balance. The modeling light is a big plus, in noisy enviornments it dimms to signal the flash has fired. The variable output control is great in smaller settings, good range for selecting f stops.

I would purchase this product again

Since buying this product I have not had the opportunity to use is as frequently as I would like to. The times I have used it, its performance was flawless.

I recommend these units to all

For years I have lugged around a Norman 2400 powerpack and heads. I finally broke down and selected a monolight set. After some investigation I found the Flashpoint II [...]. Based upon, price, features, flexibility, color level I made my choice. I bought 3 units, two softboxes, two unbrellas, three stands, a boom, snoot and barn doors with grid. The units have been remarkable. Using the adjustable power levels and the ability of high output I have yet to be stumped with these units. The only negative I have is that I can't find a case that all these items can fit into. I recommed these units to all.

Great bang for the buck

I have 2 of these and are very pleased with there operations. They are very durable and work very well in my studio. Great value for the money. I would like to see additional adaptors offered so you could use other soft boxes on them.
