Good value for the price. Umbrellas can be used in either reflective or shoot-through mode. Stands and adapters are solid. Power cable is just friction-fit but so far so good. No issues getting the strobes to trigger (I use radio slaves or cables). Bag is just big enough to fit everything if you pack it carefully. Bag seems reasonably sturdy and isn't tearing, straps still attached, etc. The biggest drawback is that color temperature is not totally stable with light output. For a single light, or both set the same, you can compensate, but if you have one of them set higher than the other you may get some color differential from one to the other that you didn't want and it's going to be hard to remove that in post.

Our most popular kits configurations are the ones with two heads. These appeal to photographers buying studio lighting for the first time as well as photographers looking for exceptional value for the money. A typical two-head kit will include two monolight flash units with two light stands. To help control the light, there are two 40" white umbrellas included. In our experience, this creates a very easy-to-use and effective two-light setup. Using umbrellas is perfect for portraiture and many still-life applications.
