Description
· Grids are essential accessories for any lighting system. A grid alters the shape and intensity of the light output when it is mounted on a flash head. Consider a grid as a painter would a brush, or a sculptor would a knife, or chisel.
· Grids narrow the angle of the light and soften the quality of the light somewhat. The angle of the beam depends on the number of grids within the Honey comb. Honeycomb grids are an inexpensive way to create a spotlight effect for a hair light in portraiture or to emphasize the main product in a still life shoot. Since light is a photographers most creative tool, a honeycomb grid can open new doors of creativity for both the beginner and the professional photographer.
