I use this for in-home studio shoots. I wouldn't call myself a pro, but I've been lighting for years, and this is a great strobe for the money. The only thing I can say negative about it is that it took a bad fall, and as a result, part of the back housing is a little lose, but it works perfectly. And, considering the fall and the cost I would say it did pretty good.

I bought this as a hair light and background light hoping a cheap strobe will cut down cost for me...but it's pretty rubbish. the modelling lamp died after one shoot and now I have to replace it. A bit dissapointed but what do you expect from a [$] light. You literally get what you paid for.

Excellent value for money.. I'm happy with my purchase.. I hope Adorama also offers the kit with the 220V since I am outside the US. An optional battery pack would also be handy for outdoor shooting.
