The only reason I gave this a 4 star rating instead of 5 is only a personal belief that nothing is really "perfect". I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a solid, well made ball head with tight tolerances. The ball head is so well made that I would compare it favorably to other more expensive ball heads.

Matched with my 3POD tripod, this head works as good as it looks - heavy and solid - No problem in handling my D7100 with an 80-200 f2.8 attached

I am impressed by the quality of this tripod ball head. I have been looking for a good quality ball head within my budget for quite some time now and when this item went on sale I grabbed it right away. I mounted my a 70-200 2.8 lens with a camera and the ball head held it very securely. I will be buying more of the quick release to mount on my other equipment.

There is nothing that i do not like about this ball head with quick release. Shooting in cold temperatures and with arthritic hands this piece of gear is a dream for me. It goes on and off the camera and ball head so easy. No more struggles. I love it! Shipping was arrived as promised. I would recommend this ball head/quick release.

I am a casual photographer and tripod camera support is essential for me. I do have a sturdy tripod but the holder is a older style with too many nobs. This product is well made and the ball clamp seems to have a good grip. My only reservation is the durability of the clamping knob. I tight it just enough but always fearful if the camera will sag. If you over tighten it then the fear of damaging it. Only time will tell, for now it seems to be working fine and I made a habit of regularly checking the knobs for looseness.
