An excellent pack along tripod.

Travel, very very strong ,feel of metal, the ball head is smooth, easy to attach camera to,holds up a large SLR with lens and flash, footprint is small enough for tight areas,it serves as a nice stand for the cameras when they are in between shooting, looks is also attractive ,which keeps it from looking cheap.I like toting along in my case because it really is about the length of my hand .

Great for holding P&S

By

I got this after the balls on my GorillaPod wore out and stopped supporting my camera. This thing is great for holding up a small point and shoot camera. And it look like it will last much longer than the GorillaPod.

Compact Table Top Tripod

By

Purchased as part of a bundle deal. The tripod is more rugged than first expected. The ball socket allows the user to set any tilt or angle. Great for those shots that require just a little elevation off the table or camera base. Using this base with a Canon G15.

Compact, sturdy legs

By

Gets my camera close to the ground for a significant change in perspective. It holds point and shoots well, my full frame slr is on the edge of the tripods capacity because the ball head seems a bit weak. I'm on the lookout for a slightly larger ball head.

Questions about this item:

Dave M  Does the ball head unscrew from the legs and what is the diameter of the base where the legs hinge? Thanks. Dave
Sonny L  The ball head DOES unscrew from the base. There is even a little attached folding semi-circular "key/handle" under the base, to turn the tripod mount screw into the ball head, or into your camera directly. There is a single side screw to lock horizontal rotation, as well as the ball. It grabs both nicely. The base has a diameter of 1 5/8 inches. Hope that this helps, Sonny
Dave M  Thanks Sonny. That is just what I needed to know. Dave
Shopper  How much weight will it hold ?
CHRIS C  I have successfully used this mini tripod with my Nikon D800 & 105 macro lens. Reaaly well built and sturdy.
