Solid construction, well engineered

Got this unit to hold Adorama Flashpoint II 24" x 24" Softbox. Excellent design on sturdy bracket to hold Softbox. Unit is very sturdy and looks well engineered except for the friction tension on the tilt bracket. No matter how hard you turn the nice big handle, the unit slips when tilted. Haven't tried to add anything to make it hold but it needs something. (Mine could have a part missing)

Excelent light !

it´s a very cheap option, but the quality of the light and manufacture looks like a lamp of 100 dollars or more, the dra quartz lamp offers a continous light that is excelent for night shots.

• Flashpoint now offers a constant, 3200°K tungsten light. The unit accepts two different bulbs, using R7s base. Comes with scrim protector and 4 leaf barn door. • This quartz light is perfect for the one light still life set up or as an addition to a multi-light set up that needs a kicker light. This is the one light you can't be without when shooting tungsten.
