Green Extreme battery grip is an extreme bargain compared to what you pay for brand products. Had one for my 60d and shoot thousands of pictures a year until camera died on me but grip continued to function. Would hesitate to buy this product again.

Ordered this because it was advertised for the Canon 80D, however thr box I revieved was labeled to work with 70D. Although it does power the camera, the battery level will not display. I contacted customer service and was told they would investigate and get back to me in a couple days, but it's been over a week and nothing yet. I have found out this is a problem in general with the 80D and 3rd party grips, but it shouldn't be listed to work with a certain model whrn it doesn't fully function. Very frustrated!

Bought this as part of a package with Canon 80D; the camera can't recognize Canon OEM batteries when used with the grip. I can still force the camera to accept the batteries but in non-OEM mode only - no control/information about batteries' status

On my Canon 5D I purchased the Canon battery grip. It works great, but is very expensive when you're not making your living with a camera. So when I added the 70D, I looked to Flashpoint. So far I'm quite pleased with it. The finish is very good and the fit is good - only negative is I wish it felt a bit tighter on the camera. However, that has not interfered with the operation at all and I'm happy with my purchase. I'm confident you will be too!

I own a few camera always buy the canon brand but this time wanted to try something different glad I did u cant really tell the different from canon Crip to Flashpoint.

Nice battery grip, you don't have to worry about your single battery dying because your spare is already in place. Also, you can use double A batteries for this one, it comes with its own battery holder. I like this product.
