better balance & steadier shots

Solidly built and makes a difference when hand-holding a front-heavy rig. If you're thinking about it, just get one. I figured the shipping would cost as much as the product, but I wasn't in a hurry, so it even qualified for free shipping!

Great weight!

Just what I needed! Fits standard rods nicely. Feels solid. Has a thread for mounting something to it or potentially combining two weights in one.

Great 2.5 lb. weights

Great 2.5 lb. weights. Slides right onto the standard rig of 15MM rails @ 60MM on center. If you need more weight, you can simply buy two (or more), and stack them with a 5/16-18 set screw (or cut the head off a screw) The hole is threaded through on both sides. Cheaper than anything out there, and probably as good!

• Counterweights that are added at the back of the rig, securely attached to the universal 15mm rods of the shoulder support pad, help balance and stability by putting the center of the overall rig and equipment weight in line with your body's center of gravity. The counterweight screws securely onto the Flashpoint Shoulder Rig via a 3/8" thread. Counterweights can also be stacked to offset very unbalanced loads.
