I was very surprised by how well made the reflector is. Given the low price this product exceeded my expectations. I used the soft gold side last weekend and was very pleased with the soft warm reflected light - the 52" size easily provided coverage for half height portraits and could probably have worked for full length.

I use this for indoor or on location portraits in conjunction with Flashpoint Monolights, and am very pleased White side makes great soft shadow fill Gold Side, makes nice warm fleshtones My only complaint is that sometimes its a bit difficult to twist it back in thirds so that it fits in its supplied nylon carrying case All uses for lighting and image improvement are perfect and I am very pleased to have a 52 inch reflector at such a great Adorama price

If you are a new parent or are looking for a great photographic gift for friends or family with a new arrival, here are some gift ideas that won’t break the bank but will help you make better baby pictures.

Reflectors are available in many forms but my favorite is the circular, collapsible types that are easy to carry.
• Adorama has studied for many years the needs and wants of the professional, advanced and beginner photographer. All the equipment that bears the Flashpoint name meets these essential qualifications, equipment that is dependable at a fair price. The Flashpoint Collapsible Discs meet that criteria. High quality fade resistant materials are matched with heavy stitching & strong bands. The result, a high quality reflector that will even take an assistants abuse! Don't throw money away or get caught short on location or in the studio. Flashpoint products, strong enough for a professional, priced for everyone!
• The soft gold side is used to warm the light. It removes the blue cast created by open sky or uncoated flash tubes. The white side is used to open shadows & create detail. Both sides work equally great for fashion, portraits, even still lifes!
