Remember those plastic collapsible cups? That's how this should have been designed, so it could pack small. I kept the honeycomb part and discarded the rest. I stuff it into the front of the Lumiquest folding snoot when I want a tighter throw. The folding snoot fits ALL my flashes.

The whole Q-series is great and most recommended for serious off-camera flash photography

Fairly compact. I like the grids that come with it. Good for creative speedlight lighting.

It as good and useful piece of equipment. I would encourage the manufacturer to try to think on a folding design which could help portability a big deal. Should not be too difficult and would increase versatility
