Flashpoint NPF550 Battery with Charger for Video Light

The battery and charger were incuded with my purchase of an LED light. The charger works well, charging the battery fully within a few hours. I have purchased additional, higher capacity batteries, and the charger does a good job with them as well.

Got the first one, it would not work. Battery fully charged, etc., could not get the light to work at all. Sent it back, got the second one, same problem. This time discovered that the battery does not connect correctly to the light. Created an unusual answer by putting in my own small pieces of heavy wire. Works perfectly now -- but with additions to the original. Something tells me the manufacturer of either the battery or the unit changed something and did not tell anyone. When it works, it does work beautifully! For the price, can't be beaten as a light. Except for the fact that you have to find how to make it work. Would not recommend this to anyone else unless they have fixed the problem.

Great LED lights, works well mounted to stabilizing rig and powering with 4 AA batteries is great. No recharging before the shoot and the LED light covers a wide swath of light in from of me.

Easy to use, Although it didn't come with instructions. A bit interesting figuring out the mounting supports at first but once seeing the mechanisms function, very easy to handle. I wish this came in even numbered battery slots, easier to have rechargeables like that vs. odd. But it's still functional.

I use this primarily for Macro photography. Although it can be attached to the camera shoe, I prefer to hand hold to get the light in exactly the right angle. I have also used this for fill light both indoors and outdoors. I wish that there was more of a range for adjusting the light intensity but can compensate somewhat buy moving the light source.

This lightweight light really puts out for personnal use. It works great indoors or out. It's barndoors help control the output in special situations.
