I am a still photographer with an interest in video, as such I want to allocate funds toward lenses not hardware. This rig is perfect for me. What else is there at this pricepoint? It is versatile, adaptable,and does everything I want and need at my present level of usage, now I can get a monitor and have a very satisfactory rig that will serve me well for some time to come. Very pleased.

This device looks and feels like it should cost $700. It has taken the place of several of our camera support rigs. It's strongly built and can be used in any number of configurations. If your studio has more than one camera operator I suggest you buy one for each operator. Otherwise they'll fight over it.

May have been faulty... not sure. either way I wouldn't recommend it. Go for something more expensive. It's what I should have done in the first place.
