Accomplish impossible marvelous camera-in-motion shots without a dolly or 'flying' boom and crew.

Defy forces of gravity and master the physics of flexible balance.

Perform amazingly fluid walk-thru's and mobile-pans with grace and flare.

Walk, run, go up and down stairs, shoot from vehicles in motion and over uneven terrain without any instability or camera shake when recording video while hand-holding.

FlashPoint ZEROGRAV blends the best of gimbal based camera stabilization systems that diverts the weight of equipment from imbalanced handheld to a stabilized vest body brace that links a dynamic spring powered arm supporting a gimbaled carbon fiber monopod. All of the action and movement is controlled by a sophisticated blend of levers, springs, counterbalance weights and concentric ring connections that any user can master in a simple setup. The body vest serves as a brace for the positive locking arm which is mated with the handheld camera stabilizer.

The first element of the ZeroGrav steadycam system is a comfortable customizable camera support vest completely adjustable to various heights and physiques. The self locking closures safely enwrap the user and incorporate a strong lightweight aluminum alloy body plate. Shifting of weight distribution is eliminated with extra foam padded shoulder, waist and torso Velcro closures that surround the wearer. Precision fashioned sockets are situated on the belt section to provide a link to the next element, the articulated boom arm.

The boom arm imitates human flexibility and resists the cumbersome load that high end DSLR cameras and video devices present when continuously recording images. Precision bearings at every joint link sections with gentle degrees of motion control. The adjusting knob is critically placed to arrest unwanted drag due to unsteady handling. The corresponding link pin fits exactly into the handle recess of the handheld stabilizer grip.

The final essential part is the height adjusting balance stabilizer. The camera is attached directly to the platform or by means of a quick release adapter. Positive locking levers, micrometer geared adjusting knobs on clearly marked calibration scale, provide infinite north-south east-west settings for the slightest changes in equipment weight. Set up is simplified by fitting the socket port in the handle onto a standard diameter light stand and discovering true balance without touching the assembly. The stabilizer length creates fulcrum anti-swing and limits the need for additional disk weights.

No room for error. Perfectly fashioned links, exquisitely finished surfaces, and silky smooth mechanism. Your shot is stable no matter the challenging motion and assured to astound the most demanding director.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Can you store the kit in a case?
DAVID P  Great question. The device does not collapse much. I carry mine in a simple cardboard box, doubled, with towels to prevent the pieces from rattling and scratching. The operators of this monster have muscles and brains. Hire one of them and ask them how they handle and store the device. Then practice, practice, practice. Good luck!
Todd G  As this unit does not include a monitor, what are you using to monitor your shot? The on-board display of the camera itself? Is this enough? Has anyone attached their own external monitor to this rig? Thanks.
DAVID P  Great question! Try some different glasses. Learn to use and get the best of your on-board monitor. Keep your gear in top condition. And clean. Shoot a lot with your camera. Take advantage of post tools. They are very helpful and always getting better. Ask your question to your other filmmakers. Good luck! David
Chastity M  Can you use this vest and arm with a glidecam hd 2000?
PHOTOOPS L  If tried using it with the Glidecam HD 2000 but the bottom of the stablilizer (where the weights are placed) keeps hitting the vest. It works but wouldn't recommend it.
