This does the job but it can be a pain.
I have a love hate relationship with this arm. It's very convenient to be able to loosen all of the arm's adjustments with the twist of just one wheel. However, if you just want to make a minor adjustment unscrewing that wheel will loosen each of the arm's settings requiring you to reset them all not just the intended adjustment.
However, this is the best solution (and least expensive) I have found to light extreme macro images. It appears to be very sturdy and I would buy it again.

A worthy investment for a starter kit
This arm is a workhorse for my early production needs I recommend this or the Noga cine arm.

Very Nice!
This is exactly what we're looking for. The mount holds our LED camera light perfectly and adjustment is easy and stays put when you need it to.

Nice small arm that allowed me to get my Rode mic up and out of the way on my rig. I think this thing will last long than my cameras.

Seems great so far
Build quality is good. I bought this to get my video light off camera. Seems like it will work great. Tightens up well and holds the light via 1/4 20 screw.

Good for the price
I use this to stabilize my tripod legs when I have the tripod legs moved close in to the column when I am taking photographs to be stitched together to create a virtual tour. Combined with clamps this works well and they are small enough to fit in my tripod case. They are quick to setup when I am working in a museum after hours were I have a limited time in which to set up and take the photographs.

Lightweight
Works well for lighter cameras and lighting equipment. It's a short, and lightweight stick, so don't expect to be able to mount an ILC and lens on it. But it's great for holding and controlling a smartphone, point-and-shoot, and lighting equipment like the Westcott LED matt.

Handy well made accessory
Works fine. It is quite compact. If that size meets your need its great. I also got a double tube larger unit that provides more length.

Love this handy little tool in my camera bag! Works in so many scenarios when working with multiple lights, cameras or in the field on my own. Buy it, toss it in your bag, and be thankful you have it on SO MANY occasions! cheers

Great accessory for my URSA Mini 4K
Needed an attachment to hold my SSD drives for my BlackMagic URSA 4K Mini. Attaches securely and works quite well keeping my drives in place on the unit. Very Satisfied.

Good Cheap Alternative!
Considering there's an Italian brand-name version of this that costs a LOT more, and how solid this feels and how versatile the attachments are, it's a pretty darned good value.
