About Print File G Archival Photo

• Until recent years, archival film storage had been associated, at least in the public mind, with museums, government agencies, libraries, or other institutions concerned with the preservation of photographic records; however, other users of photographic film, such as commercial photographers, printing houses, publishers, and schools, have long been concerned with how best to ensure permanence of their irreplaceable photography.
• A sophisticated generation of amateur photographers who observed how time, humidity and casual storage damaged valuable slides and prints, nowadays, have converted to using archival storage techniques. They, too, appreciate that a picture good enough to keep is good enough to keep forever.
• Exclusive thin backing coupled with high clarity provides excellent resolution when proofing without removing negatives from the preserver. No other manufactured preserver has this feature. Also, continuous seams eliminate the problem of negatives hanging up in the sleeve itself. You can literally load and unload Print File preservers easier and faster.
• The Exclusive Hanging File System is designed specifically for hanging photographic records in standard file drawers or file boxes. Simply slide the hanger into the preserver's I.D. strip, and it's ready for hanging. And you don't need to be a professional photographer to keep your negatives, prints, slides, and transparencies permanently protected. While you might not be able to maintain an optimally cool, dehumidified vault, you can be assured that careful handling and storage of film and print material, using Print File archival preservers, will help keep your film library in top quality condition for years to come.

Moving Old Memories to a new home

By

from OKC, OK  -  Midrange Shopper

Transferring 20-30 years of photos to new albums. These oages hold 8 4x6 photos per page rather then the typical 6 so I use less pages. Print File is a known quality and the photos look good in the pages and they save the photos from damage. My adult chidren spend hours going through them when they are home for a holiday or family event. Lots of laughs and memories.

Great Product

By

from Wynantskill, NY 12198  -  Photo Enthusiast

I take about 4000 photos per year and have always used these archival pages from Adorama (also buy my Nikons from Adorama). The 8 prints per page purchased in bulk is the best value and allows many to view the photos without causing any harm to them. Have never had a page deteriorate or tear so photos are stored forever without concern.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
KENN M  I've used these sheets for years and have never had any problems....
David G  Does this fit a standard 3 ring binder?
VICTOR G  Technically, yes. The holes are right for a standard 3-ring binder. However, the page width is bigger, so the pages will stick out. There are extra-wide 3-ring binders available, and Print File's "G-Series" refers to Print File binders big enough for those pages.
Jennifer C  What album do you use with these pages? I have some empty Pioneer TRB-114 binders and those hold 8.5 x 11" pages so I'd need to buy albums for these sheets. I want to transfer 40 years of photos into new albums and am researching options. I like that these pages hold 8 4x6 prints but don't know which albums work with the pages. If you can provide style numbers for album suggestions I'd greatly appreciate it!!
BRENDA M  Hi Jennifer, I already had an album that I wanted to use (I like to go to thrift shops and pick up albums that are usable and suitable for my needs). The dimensions of the album dictated what inserts could be used. This may not help you since I do not have any style numbers for albums. Any three ring binder album will work. The size and style is up to you for what you want to accomplish. My album also included inserts that would hold 5x7 photos. Figure out the dimensions of the inserts you want to use and look for albums that are large enough to work.
