Very useful....
As someone who travels around the UK with my laptop I am always wary of prying eyes on trains and in public areas. Whether working or simply surfing social media this is such a simple solution to keep eyes away from the screen. Its easy to affix and works brilliantly. Unless viewing straight on the screen appears black to an onlooker. Clever idea....brilliant!

Work in public - and keep it private!
Nowadays, I find myself out of the office more than I’m in it. But wherever I go, my laptop goes with me: on the train, in a Costa coffee shop, at a client’s office, and at an ever increasing number of locations in public areas. The big problem with working on a laptop in public areas is the feeling of being exposed, and running the risk of strangers (or even nosey associates) being able to take a sneaky look over your shoulder and discover all kinds of sensitive information. In my particular line of business I get involved with a great deal of work that comes under the ‘private and confidential’ label, so I have to be extra vigilant when it comes to keeping my information safe and secure. After hearing about the PrivaScreen Privacy filters at a recent client meeting, I decided to buy one in an effort to blackout prying eyes and therefore work with much more confidence when out and about. PrivaScreen tinted filters come in a range of sizes to fit all computer and laptop screens, and I believe versions are also available for tablets and iPhones. I bought the 15’’ version - and, in less than a minute, I simply peeled off the protective film and fixed the filter to my laptop screen using the adhesive tabs supplied. The filter sits nice and flush to my screen, viewing when typing is perfect, and I also feel the extra film gives my laptop screen a bit more protection. But the main reason why I bought it was to avoid others being able to view my work on screen; so how good is it? Well, PrivaScreen definitely provides a complete blackout to anyone viewing from the side - even at a very tight angle, and the only real way to see what’s on the laptop screen is to be sat right behind it in my seat! So, whilst it may be a very simple product, it’s really, really effective - and I now feel a lot easier about working in public. My wife, however, has her reservations; but that’s only because she can no longer see whether I’m playing Candy Crush or not!
