I bought a Nikon D 810 from Adorama and they threw in this bag for free. I thought it would be some cheap giveaway but was I surprised !! I've had it for 6 years and It is a great product. I carry the 810 body with 28-300 attached sitting on its back lens pointing up and an 18-35 Nikon zoom fits perfectly beside it. Just the right accessory pockets for my peripherals. The price is unreal for what you get. A rugged bag !! Now shoot baby shoot !!!

This is the third slinger I've purchased over the course of many years. The other two just simply wore out. They are well made, of durable materials, but I take the bags everywhere I go. Hiking. walking. On planes. Thrown into countless trunks. They are very rugged and durable, but eventually, the materials give way. If - when - this third bag gives up the those, I will buy another. The one wish is for a smidge more space in the side mesh pockets. They do not hold a can of soda well.

Bag is what I was looking for as far as holding my camera, two lenses, eye piece and batteries plus filters etc. I saw bags that were more expensive and was unsure that they would satisfy my desire for a smaller but roomy bag. Price was a big factor for buying this bag.

My wife and I have used these Slinger bags for years and love them. I have had mine for probably 20 years and it's still going strong. We recently replaced my wife's bag because the mesh side pockets were wearing out. These bags are the perfect size for hiking or biking with your camera. Plenty of space for a DSLR or similar camera with lens, plus two extra lenses or a lens and flash. The sling design makes access easy and the wide waist belt supports the bag while hiking or biking. I have looked at more expensive bags but haven't found anything I like better. Unless you have to carry a boatload of gear, I highly recommend this bag.

well I reviewed this bag when I first received it. It looked great but after an outing I found some things that irked me but maybe not you. The waist strap is fixed it cant be just taken off. It can with judicious use of scissors. So when bending down to photo flowers the bag likes to shift, so doe my domke. This bag became a little small when I needed tp add a bimcj pf filters for 3 different sizes of threads. The sling strap is set up to allow the bag to rest on the left shoulder cross body. I like to switch as I tire to spread the abuse. Not possible. So for my use its a little small for a G9 and 3 lenses and a bunch of close up lens and filters.I did like the innovative compartments in different areas the mesh lid area was nice but to small for what I wanted to put there. Bags are always a compromise and none will meet all needs all the time but for my needs I went back to my Domke f4AF which is half full compared to the Slinger being over filled I would give the slinger 4 stars on quality of build and for those that choose to favor only their left shoulder. I have had multiple shoulder surgeries so I am more sensitive to this than others.

I love this sling bag. I love how you can quickly move the bag from back to you front. This is my second sling bag, the first was purchased some 20 years ago and I loved it so much I bought a new one for a new camera. The original is still holding up. It also has nice hidden pouches which was great for keeping passports and such during travel.

The camera is high quality & has minimal wearing on it; the only thing I've noticed were some slightly faded buttons.

I'd prefer if it had more space in it. Also there's way to many redundant straps and buckles.

I got this with the intent to use it while day hiking to waterfall and forest streams and out of a desire to force myself to carry less gear. For that purpose, the bag is very good. The one issue that I have is that is is somewhat difficult to attach a tripod (necessary for the long exposures that I am attempting).

Quite a good bag for it's price. Has several pouches for carrying your cords and other batteries. Can accommodate my Canon EOS 50D + Rokinon 10 mm lens + 24-105 mm Canon lens. A bit of a tight fit but not too bad.

This bag was perfect for my needs. It fits one larger lens, my camera, and my smaller lens. Lots of compartments and pockets for storing smaller items!

It was slightly smaller than I had hoped, but that is due in large part to the extra padding. It is a well thought out design though; It still holds 5 Nikon SB600 strobes, (could hold more if not in their own bags.), with room for some small remote triggers and batteries. I like the fact it is also made from a nylon canvas type of fabric. The straps are unique in that they are configured as a "semi-backpack" type of style, which tends to push bag behind you a little, which can be helpful.

This is a great bag. I can carry 3 or 4 lenses in it plus space for an extra battery, filters, and SD card. I don't put my camera in it, just the extra lenses, etc. I shoot Olympus MFT for my stuff is pretty small but even my biggest lenses (12--100mm f4, and 75-300mm) fit nicely.

Bag is ok if you like a sling style bag and if you have smaller camera and one lens. I found it too snug for my D7200 with std lens and a 70-200 zoom. Depth is okay but width is limited. Materials are good and it is well made--just not a fit for my needs.

Best bag I've found for the money
By canooten
Bought this bag mainly to use when carrying equipment on the go (vacations, trips etc) and have wound up using it as my main bag. Granted, the space is a bit limited, but it's not meant to be a carry all. Currently I have a 300D, kit lens, Sigma 100-300, Canon 50mm, Tamron 17-50 and Speedlight in the main compartment (it's tight, but it closes) and various cables, cards and accessories in the zipper pockets. Build quality is great, looks are....well, who buys a camera bag for looks?... Th...

Simply put, the best camera bag, period.

The value for the dollar on this bag is superb. I wanted a Tamrac Velocity 7 or 8. After seeing the Tamrac prices I began to look elsewhere. Enter the Adorama branded Slinger bag. This bag is very well constructed of durable material. It is the perfect size, comfortable, and easy to "sling" onto your shoulder and transport your gear. I have a Nikon D5100 and a couple lenses, Raynox magnifier, extension tubes, ND filters, and a few other odds and ends. This bag carries it all with no problem ...

Give your photo gear a portable transport solution using the Slinger Simple One DSLR Shoulder Bag. This bag combines water-resistantstorage space for your compact gear with the ergonomic carrying options when you are on the go. Made from durable and water-resistant Sof-Tex polyester, the bag features enough space for holding your DSLR camera, two lenses, a flash, plus minor accessories. Its walls and internal removable dividers are padded to absorb any shock that might hurt your investment. All five dividers are outfitted with touch fasteners and can easily be rearranged as needed to accommodate your optics. By default, you have two vertical dividers that create three compartments and three vertical that make upper and lower levels. For small accessories, like memory cards, the interior also has a zippered mesh pocket. To help you lug things like power supplies, batteries, and cables, the bag provides a large zippered front compartment with another mesh pocket inside. After you have packed all your main gear, closethe wide water-resistant flap closure and secure it with a three buckles: one in the front and two on the sides. If you need more storage for accessories, gadgets, water bottles, or snacks, you can use two integrated mesh pockets on the sides. For your ID, a wallet, or a nametag, there is a small zippered pocket in the back.
This bag not only provides effective means of packing your portable photo gear but also features a wide ergonomic shoulder strap, a waist belt, and a rubberized handle. While the shoulder strap runs diagonally from your left shoulder to the right side of your trunk for added comfort, the buckled waist belt allows keeping the bag tight during any activity. Also noteworthy, four integrated D-rings in the front that allow hanging or securing the bag or attaching additional items.
