The case is well-constructed with 9mm tour-rated plywood accented with Ultra-Dur EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) padding that will gently nest your gear and keep it from scratching. The reinforced exterior ball corners will help guard against incidental contact and abrasions. The top is removable but secured with its strong recessed butterfly twist latches. The case is carried via its two spring-loaded grip handles.
