The Gefen Extra Long HDMI Extender Over Cat-5 Cable extends your high definition (HD) display with multi-channel digital audio up to 330 feet (100 meters) away from your HDMI source using just one CAT-5 cable, at resolutions up to 1080p. DVI-D is also supported (when used with an HDMI-to-DVI adapter) for more options when you want to integrate several home theater components.

The same CAT-5 cable extension will extend Ethernet and give you an infrared (IR) remote control back channel to control AV sources. With the built-in IR Blaster, just point the IR remote at the display to control the high definition sources--as if they were located in the same room as the display.
