I use it everyday and it is reliable for my EDC I use a lot of there knives for camping but the blade just needs to be just a little sharpened

I see some bad reviews about this edc. But overall I find the scissors very useful, moreso than pliers. Mine are sharp, tight and cut very well anything I put in front of it. The tools deploy just fine. I use the serrated blade often. The file is useless tho as it has no length for stroke to it. I like this much better than the Dime.

This tool is much more than what first meets the eye. It does not have the very best knife or the very best pliers etc, they are all just very good. So why buy it? It's competent in all its functions but another item won me; the small serrated edge saw. I didn't start on a sequoia tree but on a bread roll. Whereas a knife compresses the bread and makes cutting very difficult, the saw in two or three runs cuts the roll leaving it flat and spreadable. First used in the wilds on an archaeological dig in Glenlyon at Carnbanmor.

The Gerber Splice Pocket Tool (Black) is a bottle opener with about nine other tools. At least, that's one way to look at it. Nip it, clip it or snip it with the new Splice scissors. The Splice gives you more than cutting capabilities, thanks to a variety of handy tools.
