I've had mine for years, I never use the carabiner, it's too thin for me to feel it's secure. I wish it had a small keychain hole on the back by the "G" (like a SAK). With that said, it's the most useful and smallest EDC multi tool I've ever found. It's always with me, and the tools are the exact size I always need. It takes up no space in my pocket so it's always with me.

if you want something so small and practical that is super functional then look no further. I've had this thing for close to a year now, carry it everyday and it has so many uses. Yes the Carabiner is loose and flimsy and will fail you, but do what BirdSkullChild said below. Problems solved. I also own the NXT and I pull this out probably just as much for the smaller everyday stuff as I do that product. Thanks Gerber.

I like everything except the so called carabiner clip. it was faulty right out of the package. the steel it's made of is not hardened enough.

The concept is good to have such small multi tools with a really usable knife. However, the carabiner is really not a good design for use as well as wasting space. Remember both ppl bought this because of the size. Also, putting 2 flat head screwdrivers in such a small tool is more than enough. I saw a fake Curve in China that replaced one flat head with a pair of scissors. Not a bad idea!

I like the Curve. I wish they made a version without the ungainly carabiner / bottle opener and just had a key ring.

For all of those complaining about the built in carabiner being faulty, just simply attach a split ring key ring to the very bottom of the Gerber Curve (where the small Torx screw is)! I've NEVER lost my knife this way.

At first,i saw this little multi tool online,i think it is a very nice design item but i was thinking does the tools really works well or is it just only a nice looking thing but unless in tool. So i went to shop and buy 1 of them,after using it for a few days,i loves it very much,so i went back to the shop and buy 2 more of them :) It is very light and easily keep in pocket and can bring it where ever i go,the tools work well but the best part is the locking of the tools. Good job Gerber.... but i only hope it can made a bit longer about the length of victorinox classic.

I never realized how much I missed the tool after it was confiscated from my keychain from club security. I discovered that I use this tool in one way or another on average 25 out of 30 days a month. Great price and very compact. Must have for anyone who doesn't want anything bulky.
