Bought over 5 months ago, loss out of my pocket twice and now loss again for good. A great every day carry, easy to use and changing blades not a problem at all. Only down side the clip will slip off easy, therefore easy loss. I super glued it on this last time, but still loss out of my pocket. So I'm ordering 2 for the next loss or give one to my Son, hard question!

Love it! Received this knife as a Christmas gift and does everything it supposed to do and does it well.

This knife is all it needs to be. I have used many knives as EDC, and mostly open boxes and have sometimes messed up the blades. I love that if that happens I can change out the blade. It comes very sharp and works great.

Always at hand when my other tools are not readily available. These are reasonably priced, so I understand the risk of never seeing it again when someone "borrows" it.

I have had many of these over the years (most the TSA now has), they are so small and light you forget it's there. I like the ability to change blades when needed instead of sharpening. Not a survival knife but for an EDC it's perfect. It also makes a great gift since the price point is so low.

So the darned thing gets 'locked' in the open position. Took me forever to figure out how to get the 'safety' latch to disengage (plus I needed a flat-head screwdriver to wedge into the mechanism to keep it in position enough to allow the unit to close). Will be fine if I only use it at home with a screwdriver/letter opener/butter-knife to enable me to close it. All bets are off if use it in a location without those side tools handy. (and as a side note, I needed a utility blade to carve open the packaging that this utility blade arrived in. oh the irony ). Otherwise, seems like a useful too (and better than my Stanley 10-788 that it is replacing)

The eab series utility knives is great. Love it. It's light weight and real sharp. Only thing I have against it is tht I wld love it if Gerber them selfs would make replacement blades for this knives. I like tht the blade tht comes with it is thicker then any other replacement blades I've ever bought. Even the carbon ones tht r really pricey. Nothing has compared to the blade tht comes with it. So I keep it on there as long as I can. And just sharpen it when need be. But it wld b great to have replacement blades of courses the same material n thickness too.

I love how this knife clips discretely into the watchpocket that any respectable pair of jeans or work pants have. I carry one almost all the time and have a few since they go through the wash from time to time. Always seem to get them back : ) Two things to make it perfect, blade protection for the unused edge and tool-less blade changes. I'd still get another just the way it is if I ever completely lost one.

This is the perfect knife for me to carry every day! The price point is awesome. I love the good quality, sturdy frame, and especially the ability to change the blade out with any standard boxcutter refill. I often forgot to sharpen my old knives when the blade dulls, and with this I can drop a 10 count of boxcutters in the house, car, office, etc and always have plenty of razor sharp backup blades on hand. I've bent the clip off at work many times and it easily bends back into place with some pliers, and it holds up great to the elements.

This is the ideal pocket knife for me. super compact and lightweight, large clip so it stay in place inside the top of my pocket. The replaceable utility blade means I don't have to worry about damaging the blade. This also is great if you forget you have your knife and are going to airport security, you can just discard the blade. The blade guard is JUSY big enough enough. It's not made for super heavy duty work but for every day use and convivence it is ideal. the only thing I would change is to have a quick release system to replace the blade instead of the screw. However the screw is designed to it can be removed with a coin. I have no issue opening and closing the knife with 1 hand.

I found this really handy. I worked in Liquor retail for five years and was forever cutting up think cardboard boxes. We were supplied with these pathetic and cumbersome utility knives with dinky little blades. I ditched those and bought the EAB. Small so it fits easily into your pocket so I had it when I needed it. Not wasting time looking for a utility knife like the rest of the crew. I bought tungsten carbide blades for it. Too easy. These blades only cost a little more and retain their sharpness much longer. Utility blades are cheap so I don't so I really appreciated this.

This knife is my favorite tool. I open a lot of boxes at my job, and breakdown a lot of boxes. I absolutely loved this knife, but sadly I lost it. I will order 2 when it becomes available again. Please let me know when it does become available! I need it back again.

If I'm wearing pants, I got it on me. Been many years of using and useful when other knives couldn't get the job done. You won't even notice it in your pocket. Been in the washing machine many times because it's almost unnoticeable.

Have used handiknives for years. I always carry this one. This beats them all for pocket chores. Easily clips inside my change pocket, compleetly safe and functional open and shut. Only ever need an other type of handiknife when I have to force the blade through an extended amount or tough material. Great product!

After buying a bunch of nice EDC folding knives this ended up being my day-to-day go-to. You can use either a USA penny or dime to easily unscrew the blade-retaining flat-head. (So many hyphens!) I wear XL gloves and I can still full hand grip this knife because of the high blade choke. I've been using it for a few months now and I came here just to write a review. I also just bought 10 more to hand out to people I like at the job site. Inexpensive, useful, and well made. One reviewer said he broke the clip so he gave it a negative review. That clip is 5/8" wide and stiff as heck.. how is that possible unless you were trying to hyper-extend it to bend it out?? Great utility knife with a super stout clip and utilitarian blade release options.

I bought this about 4 years ago. It's very unique and handy to have. I mostly use it as a money clip, but very useful for cutting. It's very light, and safe to use and carry in pocket.

I bought this knife to replace my old pocket knife. Great handle, easy to open, clips easily to jeans or belt. Very discreet. Lifetime, endless supply knife due to the ability to replace blades. 100% hand me down knife from generation to generation. Superior product from Gerber. When I buy a knife, I only buy Gerber.

Use a dime to change the blade it clips onto the screw perfectly you can pull it all the way out and the screw stays attached to the dime no need for screwdriver

This little utility knife if small and discrete which I like. But it's kind of dangerous to open. Especially trying to open one handed. If it could have the thumb flip style opener at the end it would make it more convenient and safer to open. You could keep the same frame design also.

My wife found this knife while on a bicycle ride. I have since carried it every day. The playing is worn off. It is still working good as new. Hinge is tight. One hand opening. Super thin. I tossed the clip. It always has a good edge because itâ??s a razor blade. I can strip wire chop metal or plastic and replace the blade. Fantastic little knife for pollen ig boxes or using every day at work.

I got the Eab lite for Christmas and I love everything about it. I clip it on my back left pocket when I got in the clip got caught on the set and broke the clip off. Do you offer replacement clips or is that covered in the warranty.

Love this knife, as do some of my co-workers. We work in a cabinet shop, and find these lightweight, versatile, and we are quite fond of them. I lost the screw that holds the razor blade in place, and it's proving difficult to find a new one. Other than that, best razor knife I've ever seen since I started in construction in 1994.

With all the lovely high end knives I own-turns out this is my favorite EDC due to the lightweight, simplicity, and ability to flip/replace the utility blade. Wish they replaced the blade retention screw with a thumb stud for easier opening which brings it down from a five.

Once Hurricane Harvey stopped pounding on us in Houston it was time for a great deal of cleanup. This starts with removal of old water soaked carpet. So most things sellout very quickly and this little Gerber was one of the few left. Bought it and a box of blades and went to work. Simply could not have worked better. The larger quick change knife was difficult to keep track of - this little knife is always handy because it fits right into the third small front pocket of proper blue jeans. With the variety of available blades you can use what you need my favorite is the stanly fatmax for everyday use - and I do carry this fantastic knife with me constantly.

I love the EAB/EAB Lite. My only complaint is with regard to the blade screw. I'd really prefer a quick release or button release to remove the blade. But otherwise a nicely made utility knife that has ascetic appeal. I carry mine daily. I've also buy them for my family and friends.

I love the EAB. It's very useful, allowing me to use a disposable blade for more menial cutting tasks, instead of dulling my folder, while also doubling as my money clip. That being said, I wish it was available in more colors. Most of my EDC is black, so this kind of sticks out more than I'd prefer. Still, great piece. When more color options are available, it will get the fifth star when more color options become available. Aside from that minor gripe, it's almost perfect for what it is.
